Bike Prices…..

Been browsing dungdeal for a while looking for a sports thousand 2010 onwards…. Prices are mental, motors anywhere between a thou and 3 thou overpriced, private sales, no warranty, asking more then shop price. I know it’s supply and demand and the euro goosed against sterling feckin up imports but are there still suckers out there paying that much above the odds…….the mind boggles..

Suzuki gs550 intake boots

Suzuki gs550 intake boots

Hey guys,

I removed the carbs from my 79 suzuki gs550e and the intake boots mounted to the engine disintegrated. The rubber was in a bad way. Anyway it seems that 4 new ones could be pricy enough. Any cheap solutions or is it a case that I just need to bike the bullet and fork out for new ones?

Time for an upgrade – Suggestions?

Time for an upgrade – Suggestions?

Coming up to being 3 years on the road, going to renew with carole nash this year and im on the lookout for something with a bit more grunt :cool3:

im looking to get rid of the hornet 250 and upgrade to one of the following:

bandit 600n
bandit 650
SV650S
or possibly a cb400 vtec if one could be found :ninja:

So can anyone tell me the pro’s/con’s with these models? (all around 1200 tpft joys of being 19 lol)

Paul Owens brother said this today about the SPCo,    

Isle of Man , steam Racket boat company. is a disgrace . If I sail today as a foot passenger it’s only £37 return. For the TT fortnite, it’s a £190 , that’s nearly £400 for 2 of us to come there.  How can they justify that. Ggggggrrrrrr. end.               Its no wonder more are flying than using the boat.

chrome wheel pitting??

chrome wheel pitting??

anyone know any good chromers???
ive a chromed wheel on the back of my gixxer (came with the bike but original on it)its looks like the chrome is peeling and pitting in places!! would it be worth getting done or can it be re-chromed
