National Driving Licence Service

Recently i passed the driveing test for a full category b licence-I have a full cat A bike licence since 2004-when i went to the NDLS centre they combined my A and B licence and informed me i needed N plates on my car for 2yrs as they classed me as a novice driver I did as instructed but i was,nt one bit happy.
The official actually directed me to a shop which stocked N plates.
So after a couple of weeks grudgeingly sporting nplates I had enough-no lifelong biker likes to be put down by petty officialdom.
So this morning I rang up their head office and after a conversation with them -they accepted I did not need to put up Nplates, which means I am not classified as a NOVICE driver.

PS.Novice drivers can be put off the road with less points against them than "fully qualified drivers.
Check RSA.ie and NDLS site.
IT took me 30mins to type this-so appreciate and fuckin read it .:wassat:
